Project consists of the preliminary grading of an industrial use pad, roadway construction, storm water management
construction, and watermain installation. Mass Grading
The project includes the renovation of the former indoor pool area to allow for its use as an athletic
training/practice facility. The indoor pool has already been filled by MSB in the summer of 2024. Renovations include finishes, including athletic flooring, to accommodate various training and equipment. The work also includes improvements to the power distribution and new lighting throughout the space, and fire alarm system devices. The work includes cleaning and painting existing exposed structure and deck. There will be new wall finishes, gypsum board and painting. New aluminum storefront doors and windows will be included in the scope.
The Work includes the renovation of approximately 8,200 sf of the 10,500 sf of the ground floor of Wooddell Hall for the new Nursing Program at Concord University in Athens, WV. The project consists of the non-structural interior renovation of former dormitory and multi-use spaces that will be re-purposed as faculty offices, assessment spaces, seminar and training type classrooms.
MSB currently performs work on 2 separate, open ended contracts for the West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection. Two contracts are for the Office of Special Reclamation and one is for Abandoned Mine Lands. MSB is proud to hold 1 contracts for nearly 12 years and 1 for 7 years, respectively.
Falls Mills Sewer Rehabilitation and Replacement for the Tazewell County Public
Service Authority, which consists of the rehabilitation of approximately 180 manholes and 2 sanitary sewer lift stations along with all related appurtenances
Renovation and construction of new ADA accessible sidewalk and renovation of restrooms at Bluestone State Park in Hinton, West
Virginia.
Construction of Cell 5 (approximately 7.7 acres) at its Permit 605 landfill. The work
consists of installation of all erosion and sediment control measures, preparation (filling and
excavation) of the subgrade, rock removal, installation of 12” controlled subgrade, liner
placement including geosynthetic clay liner and 60 mil HDPE liner system, geotextile, gravel
drainage layer; leachate collection piping, gravity piping, tank with concrete pad, pumping
system and force main; stormwater channels; and the development of a soil borrow area.
